December 16, 2015 - Magazine Feature with Arts & Culture Texas
The December January edition of Arts & Culture Texas Magazine has highlighted Andrew Kochie and his Duvel Glass submission. The designed art glass will become part of the Duvel Collection, joined by other renown international artists whose art has become a signature Duvel Art Glass.  The glass submission was inspired by early Czech glass forms which used gold banding. Duvel translates to devil, and an abstract devil face was incorporated into the design.  Special thanks to everyone at Duvel, and Cedars Union Dallas.

Feburary 20, 2014 Imgur gets a surprise gift and raises $1,592.01 for Charity
When not in the studio, Andrew Kochie is a avid "Imgurian" on imgur.com - an online visual storytelling community social media site. Between several friends online, it was decided to make a painting with a twist and send what would ordinarily look like an innocent painting to the Imgur Headquarters in San Francisco, California.  Hidden under the varnish only illuminated by UV Light was the internet cartoon meme "Dickbutt" within the logo. The painting included a UV Flashlight and went viral around the world within hours.

Due to popularity, a limited edition set of 60 8"x10" museum quality archival prints were made for donations over $20.00 each with 100% of the proceeds going to charity. The painting and fundraising efforts were featured on imgur.com and raised $1,592.01 for the Giraffe Conservation Foundation.
Special thanks to K. C. Green the original creator of  the 'Dickbutt' Meme.
