The Lancaster Navajo Collection is the largest private collection of Navajo textile paintings in the world. Commissioned by the Lancaster Family of Fort Worth, Texas, this collection displays some of the rarest and most important Navajo textiles depicted in paint and the history and style changes over time. Each museum quality panel is painted to "float" as a reflection of the Navajo Prayer "...With beauty before me may I walk, With beauty behind me may I walk, With beauty above me may I walk, With beauty all around me may I walk...."
